Welcome to Bei der Boma, located in Ville-Haute, Luxembourg. Make yourself at home here: the atmosphere is warm, and the flavors of the cuisine will surely bring you back to cherished childhood memories. This month, we are honored to present our Chef of the Month: Nathalie Ghys.
"My mother brought me back to the kitchen. She was an excellent cook, and my grandmother, an outstanding pastry chef. Both passed on this know-how to me with such simplicity. For us, cooking is above all a story of women, passion, and sharing."
Since April 2024, Nathalie has welcomed guests to this unique, friendly space, entirely designed from reclaimed materials and everything is homemade. When asked, "Can Bei der Boma be considered a Luxembourgish restaurant?" her response is clear: "Yes, but much more!" Her cuisine is also inspired by French cuisine. Everything here exudes generosity, and in Nathalie's sparkling eyes, you’ll feel the passion that makes this place special.
At Bei der Boma, each dish invites you on a journey of flavors, combining generosity and comfort. Nathalie invites you to try her signature Bei der Boma Stew, prepared with Liège syrup and served with kniddelen and fresh vegetables—a seasonal dish that’s both hearty and comforting.
To pair this dish, we recommend our VIGNUM Auxerrois Vieilles Vignes, which suits beautifully with the Liège syrup sauce. This wine, rich in spices with aromas of pear, is characterized by a lovely minerality. On the palate, it opens delicately with elegant notes of white fruits and pineapple revealing a delightful density of dried fruits flavors.
Did you know? Our VIGNUM Vieilles Vignes range takes its name from a true treasure of viticulture: the Vieilles Vignes designation is reserved for wines from vines at least 35 years old. These older vines yield smaller crops that give rise to wines of exceptional concentration and intensity. Each sip reveals an incomparable finesse and elegance, inviting you to a unique tasting experience.
